Do you know the real purpose of meditation? The real purpose is to tune into your inner self. The process of meditation will take you deeper into silence and into the gap between your thoughts. If you feel like your stressed and you can't quiet your mind it's okay. Each time you get quiet your developing a practice. You will drop in more deeply some days more than others. Whatever the case, know that this is benefitting you on every level. If you make a habit of meditating every morning before you do anything else, even if its only for 5 minutes, you will start the day from a place of peace, harmony, and love. The key is to work up to meditating twice a day for 20 minutes each time but do what you can. By the way, did you know that 30 minutes of meditation is more restorative than 30 minutes of sleep. There are many ways to meditate. Explore guided meditation, walking meditation, mantra based meditation etc. Find a meditation technique that resonates with you.
